i will be spending the next 30 minutes writing statistics code to analyze the data from a recent study. then i will spend the following 90 minutes programming subliminal messages for my research assistants to use non-nefariously. my research interests used to be respectable (e.g., emotion), but i am slowly becoming the mad scientist as i study meditation, death, religious fundamentalism, rape, subliminal messages, fantasy, and television (not all at the same time). yay the many christian schools that require profs to do research and give them the academic freedom (if not the time!) to do so!

Actually, I think you’ve already made better use of the inset than I ever will. I likely will never be able to say truthfully I am a mad scientist. Not even when I’m angry. See, I’m no scientist…. (sigh)
