Team USA got drawn into a pretty tough group.
Brightside: The USA will play some really top-level competition, so everyone will get to see how well the national team stacks up against two of the best. If the USA makes it to the second round, they will probably have had to beat either Italy or the Czech Republic, which would be quite cool, too.
I had lately wondered about the World Cup — I thought in honor of it we ought to have a special banner. I best get cracking on that! I didn’t know the draw was so soon upon us.
Which is to say that I am a poor follower of the game... Ah well. I don't really follow anything else anymore, either.
